This Saturday June 14, 2014 we will celebrate with all the love of art our second World Juggling Day (WMD) in Costa Rica, an annual event that in just 2 years has managed to become a tradition for the circus community._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_With the intention of recognizing talent, effort and daily discipline, we will reward the winners of the competitions as they deserve. An event for everyone with 11 hours of fun divided into 3 stages: Workshops, Competitions and Shows.

One of the primary objectives of the DMM is to award prizes and recognitions to circus artists who, thanks to a sociocultural context, do not receive any support or motivation for their effort, dedication, discipline and constant care. Well, for this year, for the winners, apart from the recognition of the community, they also get a medal that honors their first place in the competition.

We will have a gala show where a guest artist per year from now on will be presented together with the other collaborating artists of the community, a space for that routine with a juggling public where Chinese tricks are worth it and a chance to mark circus history like promoting new concepts .

IJA-WJD Collaboration Video

Just like last year we participated in the IJA collaboration video on this occasion we will include the vídeo_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf5 8d_de collaboration_cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_as a documentary project that Malabarismo-Tico is organizing with IJA in order to position a Costa Rica in the circus atmosphere, this time demonstrating a little more the reality of how juggling is seen within our country.

This year we will have 15 workshops so that everyone who wants to learn or improve their skills in any discipline can do so with many of the best teachers in the country, so the workshops can last from one to two hours ( The maximum number of people and its duration is at the discretion of the teacher).
