​What are we?

 

Malabarismo-Tico is an organization that seeks to unite and strengthen the circus community of Costa Rica. It offers spaces to share information, knowledge and experiences, organizes artistic events and recognizes the efforts of the best artists in the country. Its objective is to provide the means and tools so that Costa Rican jugglers can grow and develop in the professional artistic field.

 

In 2013, MT organized the first World Juggling Day (DMM) celebration in Costa Rica, which has become the largest juggling event in the country. In 2015, he managed to organize the 1st Central American Regional Competition (IRC Centroamérica) in alliance with the International Association of Jugglers, along with the first Central American Juggling Olympics, which rotate every year among the Central American countries.

Currently, MT is an ally of the World Juggling Federation (WJF) in a project that seeks to make juggling a sport part of the Olympic Games.



 

Who are our members?

At Malabarismo-Tico we believe that all the arts are one and should never have been separated. That is why all artists are always welcome, regardless of the art they exhibit or represent.

Malabarismo-Tico is an option for everyone, without exception and without discrimination. Each one of the members of our community has a voice and a vote as long as the respot and the benefit of the community are maintained as a priority.
 

Currently, there are more than 1,500 members.
